When You Feel Overwhelmed — A Guided Meditation for When It's Too Much

Overwhelm often carries the feeling that something is wrong — that you should be handling things better, that you should be calmer or more capable. But overwhelm is not a personal failure. It is simply what happens when the body is holding more than it comfortably can. Too many inputs, too many demands, too much energy moving at once. Your body has reached a threshold and is asking for space. In this meditation, you don't have to change your restless mind or force yourself to relax. We are just going to acknowledge the intensity, stop fighting it, and allow your nervous system to settle gradually. You are allowed to pause. You are allowed to slow down.
